Division Case Manager
GENERAL INFORMATION

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This position will be supervised by the Department of Student Services and will be responsible for coordinating the Home Services Program as well as assisting in daily operations related to student behavior.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in the review of students who are alternatively placed to determine if transitioning back to their base school is appropriate.
  • Assist with placement meetings and lead them when the Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Assist with acquiring signatures on placement documents when the Hearing Officer is unavailable.
  • Lead hearings when the hearing officer is unavailable 
  • Assist in completing letters related to student placements
  • Seeks grant opportunities for funding related to alternative education and reducing school discipline.
  • Complete student discipline reviews upon parent's request. 
  • Respond to disciplinary needs at the school. 
  • Process transportation referrals for out-placed students. 
  • Investigates Title IX complaints
  • Assists in covering for Restorative Coordinators when absent.
  • Exhibit strong relationship-building skills to promote student success and staff efficacy.
  • Assist in the hiring process and onboarding processes for Home Services staff and the division behavior team. 
  • Provides opportunities for success for all students.
  • Demonstrates willingness to work with teachers to provide students with meaningful educational opportunities.
  • Collaborates with base school administrators to monitor the progress of students.  
  • Works to achieve division/school/department objectives.
  • Communicates effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Communicate expectations clearly to staff.
  • Provides opportunities for students, families, the community, and other stakeholders to provide feedback regarding the program.

  •  Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree.
