POSITION SUMMARY

Offers support to the Program Director of the STEP with Links program and students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assist STEP Director in performing specific duties as assigned.
  • Provide programmed practice activities and repetitions as developed by director.
  • Guide independent study and other work assigned by the director.
  • Report student problems to the director and assists with student problems.
  • Supervise students during unstructured time during transitions.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior.
  • Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
  • Help maintain order in the classroom; monitors students to keep them on task.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a part-time position which includes meeting after school one day per week from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
